Nowadays, we are now using modern technologies such as cellphones, electronic devices like computers etc. Usually we use computers in connecting to the world by the use of Internet and the use of WWW or simply World Wide Web.

WORLD WIDE WEB

It is an information system on the Internet that allows documents to be connected to other documents by hypertext links, enabling the user to search for information by moving from one document to another.

Tim Berners Lee

He invented the World Wide Web.

WEB 1.0 – Static Web Page

• The page is “as is” and cannot manipulated by the user.
• Web is use as “Information Portal”
• The content is also the same for all users.

WEB 2.0 – Dynamic Web Page

• The evolution of Web 1.0 by adding dynamic web pages.
• Allows users to interact with the page and able to comment or create a user account.
• Can manipulate by the user
• Most websites that we visit today.

Allows user to categorize and classify information using freely chosen keywords (e.g.tagging)

Ex. Twitter, Instagram & Facebook

2. Rich User Experience

Website that shows local content but in the case of social networking sites, when logged on your account isused to modify what you see in their websites.

Able to place a content of their own   by means of comments, reviews and evaluation.

Ex. Lazada.com & amazon.com (online stores)

4. Long Tail

Services that are offered on demand rather than one time purchase.

Ex. itunes

Users will be subscribe to a software.
